POSITION: Volunteer Position

Submission Deadline: February 10th, 2012

 BROOKLINE PUBLIC RELATIONS, INC. is looking for the best qualified candidate for a public relations volunteer position.

 Note: This position is a minimum weekly commitment of 10 hours, Monday through Friday only. Flexibility on weekday commitments depending upon volunteer’s schedule.

 * There is no hourly wage for this volunteer position. However, a pay bonus could be provided depending upon the chosen volunteer’s performance.

 This candidate must have:  

  • Solid writing skills
  • Strong research skills
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Prompt and professional
  • Social media savvy

 The chosen candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting research for various client projects
  • Media scanning for issues, trends and opportunities related to various clients
  • Managing targeted media lists for clients
  • Administrative support
  • Event support

Start date:     February 21st, 2012

End date:      April 27th, 2012

Hours:           Minimum 10 hours per week
