BROOKLINE PUBLIC RELATIONS, INC. is looking for the best qualified Fall Intern for our NEXT APPRENTICE! As part of the Brookline team, you will join a group of highly motivated, dedicated and passionate public relations professionals. There will be unlimited opportunities to hone your skills in a wide variety of industries and help clients meet their goals through media relations, event management, issues management, social media and more. At Brookline, no two workdays are ever the same and we like it that way.
 
This candidate must have:  
  • Strong writing skills, including the ability to write press releases, media advisories, public service announcements, website content, and media and analyst briefings
  • Strong research skills
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to work well in a group setting

The chosen Student Intern will be responsible for:
  • Pitching the media for various client stories
  • Assisting in event planning and coordination
  • Writing a variety of communications pieces
  • Conducting research for various client projects
  • Media scanning for issues, trends and opportunities related to various clients
  • Managing targeted media lists for clients

End date:       December 17, 2010
Hours:            Part time, hours to be determined.
