As part of the Brookline team, you will join a group of highly motivated, dedicated and passionate public relations professionals. About You:

You’re savvy and passionate about communications, public relations, digital media and marketing, with a love for writing and are always up to date on the latest news feeds. You thrive on supporting and executing communications strategies, working collaboratively with the team to deliver stellar work.

What You’ll Do:

– Develop and implement PR strategies for clients across Canada

– Manage and support client accounts

– Coordinate press events and press tours

– Lead and/or support with communications and digital projects.

– Write a variety of communications pieces for both online and traditional channels.

– Build and maintain relationships with key media and influencers

– Support crisis communications as needed

– Lead and participate in client meetings

– Mentor staff

What You Have:

– Minimum of 4-5years of experience in public relations, communications, media relations and/or combined experience.

– A minimum of a post-secondary degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism,  and/or Digital/Social Marketing.

– The ability to take initiative, think creatively, write strong and compelling copy (storytelling) and pitch to media and influencers.

– Creativity, enthusiasm, keen interpersonal skills, and flexibility.

– Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and social media platforms.

– Excellent writing skills with a strong knowledge of CP standards.

– The ability to work in a dynamic environment.

– Remarkable time-management skills and the ability to balance account deliverables.
